PUBLIC NOTICE

HARMAR TOWNSHIP ZONING HEARING BOARD

The Harmar Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing at 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Harmar Township Municipal Building 701 Freeport Road, Cheswick, PA, 15024, to consider the following applications:

Application of KMMC Properties LLC for property located at 811 Freeport Road, Harmar Township, Parcel ID No. 529-S-82 in the C-1 Zoning District.  The applicants are requesting a variance pursuant to Section 27-1102(2) of the Township Zoning Ordinance from the requirements of Section 27-504 of the Township Zoning Ordinance, for the placement of concrete blocks within the front setback of the property as vehicle barriers. 

Please take notice that the hearing on the above-referenced application will be conducted by the Zoning Hearing Board and its appointed Hearing Officer, Babst, Calland, Clements, & Zomnir, P.C.  At the conclusion of the public hearing, the Zoning Hearing Board may take action on the application.  Any interested party, resident or taxpayer is welcome to appear and attend and participate.  Copies of the application are available for inspection at the office of the Township Manager, 701 Freeport Road, Harmar, PA, during regular business hours.
