ZONING HEARING NOTICE

The Harmar Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a Public Hearing at 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the Harmar Township Municipal Building 701 Freeport Road, Harmer, PA to consider the following applications:

Application of Steven Regan, Esquire on behalf of Paula A. Zawadzki for property located at 463 Dover Street, Harmar Township, Parcel ID 0440-S-00009 in an R-1 Zoning District.  The Applicant is requesting a dimensional set back variance to Article 27, § 27-405 which imposes a 20’ rear set back area.  Applicant is requesting a dimensional set back variance to permit construction of a sunroom which, at its closest point, is 6.8’ from the rear property line, as more formally set forth in the application for relief.

Application of Alan & Janet Bochek for property located at 1017 Russellton Road, Harmar Township, Parcel ID 634-D-50 in an I-1 Zoning District.  The Applicant is seeking dimensional variances from Article 27 § 27-404 regarding side and front yard set back areas.  The applicant is seeking a front and side yard dimensional variance that would permit a 15’ front yard set back and a 6’ side yard setback, as more formally set forth in the application for relief.

Please take notice that the Hearing will be conducted by the Zoning Hearing Board and its appointed Hearing Officer, Craig H. Alexander, Esquire The meeting will also be held via the virtual platform ZOOM for any interested party, resident or taxpayer of the community or member of the ZHB to participate remotely should they choose to do so. Please be advised that in person capacity will be limited to 25 people on a first come first serve basis with the Board, Applicants, presenters and witnesses having preference.  Members of the public who wish to participate are encouraged to do so via the ZOOM meeting platform.  A link to the meeting as well as dial in numbers will be posted to the Township Website at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled meeting for remote participation.
