Municipal Lien Letter Request

Municipal lien letter requests cost $50 per partial, and checks should be made payable to "Harmar Township".  Please be sure to include the property address, parcel number, and reason for the request.  Lien letter requests for sales or a transferring of owner's name requires a Dye Test Permit, an Occupancy - Rental Permit, and all necessary application fees paid before a lien letter can be issued.  The Dye Test Permit Application must be completed by a plumber certified with Allegheny County.  The applicant is responsible for fees incurred with the plumber. Please submit separate checks made payable to "Harmar Township" for each application. There is a $60 fee for the Dye Test Permit Application. Once a Dye Test Permit is issued, and the completed Occupancy-Rental Permit Application with payment of the $85 is received, the Building Inspector will contact the applicant to schedule an inspection.  If an Occupancy-Rental Permit is approved, the lien letter will be processed and mailed to the requestor.  Municipal Lien Letter requests and all applications can be submitted to:
